ARTIST: Allison Lu Wang

Wang is a Los Angeles, CA based artist and designer. What started out as initial inspiration or concept boards for designing collections, she created these intricate photomontages or simply- collages. Her time intensive approach involves dissecting thousands of images to reconstruct her one of a kind adventure. Wang’s process of piecing together each clipping is reminiscent of a puzzle without limitations or boundaries. With each puzzle she offers you a taste of her creative process, giving you an opportunity to play. As you attempt to recreate her world, your own adventures- your own views on beauty - will paint her artwork when you see it. Your eyes will inevitably destroy Wang’s intention and create a world that is, then, uniquely yours.
